Prices

Prices shown in the catalogue are in euros including VAT, based on the VAT rate applicable on the day of the order; any change in the rate may be reflected in the price of products or services.

MICKAEL PIEGAY COIFFEUR reserves the right to change its prices at any time; however, the price shown in the catalogue on the day of the order will be the only price applicable to the buyer.

The prices shown do not include order processing, transport and delivery costs, provided that delivery takes place within the geographical areas defined below.

Geographical area

Online sales of the products and services presented on the website are reserved for buyers residing in France, the French overseas territories or the European Union, for deliveries within these geographical areas.

Orders

Buyers wishing to purchase a product or service must:

  • complete the identification form with all the requested details, or provide their customer number if they have one;
  • complete the online order form with all the references of the chosen products or services;
  • confirm their order after checking it;
  • make payment under the conditions provided;
  • confirm their order and payment.

Confirmation of the order implies acceptance of these terms of sale, acknowledgement of full knowledge of them, and waiver of the right to rely on the buyer’s own purchasing conditions or any other conditions.

All data provided and the recorded confirmation will serve as proof of the transaction. Confirmation will constitute acceptance of the transactions carried out. The seller will send confirmation of the contract offer by email.

Withdrawal

Except for the exceptions provided by law, consumers have a withdrawal period of fourteen days from delivery of their order to inform the online seller in writing of their intention to withdraw, and to return the product to the seller at their own expense. From receipt of the withdrawal letter, the online seller has fourteen days to refund the consumer the price paid, excluding return costs.

Payment terms

The price is payable at the time of order.

Payments are made by bank card through the secure payment system of the Shopify platform, which uses the SSL/TLS protocol so that the information transmitted is encrypted and cannot be read by any third party during transmission over the network.

The buyer’s account will only be debited when the available products or services are shipped, and only for the amount of the products or services shipped or downloaded. At the buyer’s request, a paper invoice showing VAT will be sent.

Deliveries

Deliveries are made to the address given on the order form, which must be within the agreed geographical area. Shipping methods and costs are detailed in our Shipping Policy.

Risks pass to the buyer once the products have been delivered.

In the event of damage during transport, the buyer must make detailed reservations on the delivery note and contact the seller as soon as possible.

If delivery takes longer than thirty days from the order date, the sale contract may be cancelled and the buyer refunded.

Guarantee

Taking out any contractual guarantee does not prevent the application of the legal provisions relating to the legal guarantee of conformity, as set out in Articles L211-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, and the guarantee against hidden defects, as set out in Articles 1641 to 1648 of the French Civil Code, reproduced below:

Article L211-4 of the French Consumer Code
The seller must deliver goods that conform to the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery.
The seller is also liable for any lack of conformity resulting from the packaging, assembly instructions or installation where the latter was the seller’s responsibility under the contract or was carried out under the seller’s responsibility.

Article L211-5 of the French Consumer Code
To conform to the contract, the goods must:
1) Be fit for the purpose usually expected of similar goods and, where applicable:
– Correspond to the description given by the seller and possess the qualities presented by the seller to the buyer in the form of a sample or model;
– Have the qualities that a buyer may legitimately expect in view of public statements made by the seller, the producer or its representative, in particular in advertising or labelling;
2) Or have the characteristics agreed by both parties or be fit for any special purpose sought by the buyer, made known to the seller and accepted by the seller.

Article L211-12 of the French Consumer Code
Action for lack of conformity is time-barred two years after delivery of the goods.

Article 1641 of the French Civil Code
The seller is bound by a warranty against hidden defects in the goods sold which make them unfit for their intended use, or which so impair that use that the buyer would not have acquired them, or would have paid a lower price, had they known of them.

Article 1648, paragraph 1, of the French Civil Code
Action for latent defects must be brought by the buyer within two years of discovering the defect.

If a product sold does not conform, it may be returned to the seller, who will take it back, exchange it or refund it.
